At Purbeck we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver and set up some of the best simulated game days that you will find anywhere.  Purbeck Shooting School is fully insured and has the capability to operate its simulated days from any suitable venue in the country and we have all of the equipment required plus an articulated lorry in which we can transport everything necessary to set up and run a simulated game day anywhere in the UK.

Following an initial survey to determine the best shooting and launching positions we will provide a quotation for the transport, setting up and running the day. We supply absolutely everything required including clays and even cartridges if needed.  The equipment is transported to your site in our articulated lorry and our team unloads and sets up the equipment leaving you to entertain your guests under the direction of our Shoot Captain who will ensure that the line is positioned safely and in the correct position for each drive.  The total number of clays used is your choice but as a rule of thumb we would expect to throw about 1,000 clays per drive.

For some years now we have been using specially designed Pro-Matic equipment to deliver simulated game experiences to people in Dorset, Wiltshire and the Home Counties.  Each one of our specially designed simulated trailers has three Pro-Matic traps, two standards at the front and one midi at the rear. Each of the traps is fitted with stepper motors that can swivel each trap through a 120° arc.  Each trailer is connected to an all terrain vehicle for efficient movement between drives and is controlled by an individual driver/operator who receives instructions by radio from the Shoot Captain down on the shooting line.   During each drive the Shoot Captain will ensure that the shooters are getting a good variety of different birds as in a real game shoot.
